We’ve got a standing brunch date with dublab every Sunday at Ace Hotel Downtown LA — they spin records, we sunbathe on the roof. It’s not a bad arrangement.
Last weekend they took us on a trip down the autobahn to celebrate the release of Krautrock Classics — the new comp they’ve put together from a stellar show they hosted a couple Summers ago — with DJ sets Upstairs by Jimmy Tamborello, M. Geddes Gengras, Suzanne Kraft, Nanny Cantaloupe and Carlos Niño.
They also set us up with the exclusive on this beautiful track from the comp — Carlos Niño and Friends covering Popol Vuh’s epic “Steh Auf, Zieh Mich Der Nach.” Now it’s all yours.

Trollhaugen is where I grew up riding and it will always be my favorite. The level of progression I’ve seen there firsthand throughout the years is ridiculous. All of your favorite snowboarders have spent hours on that ropetow.

Days like these are what keeps my heart in snowboarding. Doesn’t get any better than warm weather, BBQ, beers, the best park crew around, and snowboarding with your good friends.

Thank you to all the riders for ripping, thank you to everyone that helped me film, thank you to everyone who has ever been a part of or been psyched on what we’re doing with 1817, and as Colin Wilson once said, thanks to Trollhaugen for raising me.
